LEARNING MODELS

In this video we can see the examples that I have done for you to present the learning models in an easy way.

First, I have studied the Behaviorism, Cognitivism and Constructivism. So, in the Behaviorism we studied that the teacher doesn't worry about learner's needs. The teacher just focuses on teach and usually he used punishment to correct the bad behavior of the students. Then, In the Cognitivism the teachers started to think about student's needs. The teacher becomes a helper and he did not use punishment, he prefers to use the reasoning to understand something. And in the Constructivism the teacher share with the students ideas and take into account their opinion to construct the knowledge in class.

Second, I can talk about reading as example for behaviorism because when we learned about behaviorism we studied that is important to memorize some words and repeat them to create a behavior. Also, I can say that the use of films is important in the constructivism because in this way students will be able to create and construct a discussion based on what they have seen in the film.

Finally, to study Educational Psychology is very important to know about the history of teaching. Nowadays, we have to think in our student’s needs in order to construct the knowledge with them. So, in the future when I become teacher I would like to share ideas and create a good environment with my students in order to make the learning process successful.
